About Us

With billions of dollars on the line, clinical trial decisions are still being made without deep insight into each patient's underlying biology, leading to expensive failures. Immune diseases are still treated by clinical phenotype and severity rather than by the molecular endotype that actually determines whether a therapy will work.

This is now becoming tractable. Multimodal immune data is exploding: single-cell and bulk transcriptomics, histology, imaging, longitudinal records, with bulk RNA-seq now widely generated across research and drug development. Today that signal is still compressed into narrow gene panels and crude severity scores. Every sample contains a rich snapshot of disease biology, but much of that information is still unused in practice. We believe this creates a unique opportunity: a clinically accessible assay that can capture rich biological information at scale.

Cytokai is an applied AI research lab building foundational models that extract information from multimodal immune data, decoding the hole system interactions. We train foundational models to discover patterns associated to disease diagnosis, progression and treatment response.
